SpaceX launches a red Roadster into orbit

In a world first, SpaceX has launched a red convertible sports car into space. On Tuesday, SpaceX, a company owned by Elon Musk of Tesla, launched the world’s most powerful rocket into space releasing a red Roadster carrying a mannequin in a space suit dubbed “Starman”, which will orbit around the sun and at times, get close to Mars.

While usually cars aren't fitted inside rockets, SpaceX wanted to launch something "fun" and decided on a red Roadster.
