The top three finalists for the 
2018 World Car of the Year Awards were recently announced at the Geneva Motor Show. For the second year in a row, the cars are all SUVs or crossovers. The winner will be crowned at the New York Auto Show later this month.
The three finalists are:
	- Range Rover Velar
 
	- Volvo XC60
 
	- Mazda CX-5
 
This year also marked the announcement of the first ever 'World Car Person Of The Year' award which was awarded to Hakan Samuelsson, President and CEO of Volvo Cars.
