Pickles showed up and showed out at the 2026 exhibition

Held over three days, Pickles' large exhibitor area had countless visitors and was particularly buzzing on Friday for the annual live auction. Featuring over 60 lots of quality used assets, the event is a rare opportunity to experience the magic of a Pickles auction in person. With the thrill of the auction atmosphere capturing the crowd of Diesel, Dirt & Turf attendees, the Pickles Industrial team put on a show over the 1.5 hour live sale.
There was a mix of on-site and online buyers, with strong bidding across the board. Overall, there was $3.6M worth of assets sold on the day and a 90% clearance rate of the lotted gear. Interestingly, there was a 100% clearance on dozers and graders in the auction, showing a big appetite for these asset classes. On the day, sales hit a high of $500k for a single asset, signalling a positive selling climate and marketplace strength during unsettling economic settings.
Notably, the 2026 live auction drew in a number of new registered buyers specifically for this sale. With lots of new people coming to visit the Pickles exhibitor stand and a number of new bidders getting involved in the live auction, it bodes well for the industry overall to see growth and an expanding community.
The 2026 live auction featured used loaders, graders, backhoes, rollers, ATVs, and ride-on mowers from top manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, John Deere, Kubota, and many more. One of the highlights from the day was the sale of a high quality 2024 CAT 350 excavator with only 1,000 hours on the clock and plenty of factory extras, resulting in a winning bid of $450k!
