Payment Speed FAQ
Learn about seller payment timeframes, buyer payments and what happens if a successful bidder cannot pay.
Pickles guarantees rapid fund remittances to sellers within 7 days of the asset being sold whilst offering buyers an efficient digital checkout system. In addition, Pickles is guided by strict financial governance and regular independent audits of its massive state-based trust accounts.
Subject to Pickles receiving full payment from the buyer, it usually takes 7 to 10 business days for a seller to receive payment after an item is sold. For buyers making payments, bank transfers take 24 to 48 hours to clear.
If a winning bidder cannot pay for an asset, Pickles deems this an immediate breach of contract. The buyer faces losing their initial deposit, having their account suspended, and being held liable for any financial shortfall if the asset is resold.
