Changes to the Environmental Protection Act 2017 (VIC)

In line with recent changes to the Environmental Protection Act 2017 (VIC) effective from 2 January 2022, buyers that reside, operate or are registered to bid in the State of Victoria, Australia, must provide Pickles with a current valid operating licence, permit or registration (“EPA Authority”) to purchase any statutory write off vehicle.

A selected range of salvages are offered on our E-Salvage platform. The salvages offered are made up of various salvage types, and WOVR status’ i.e. Repairable, Statutory and WOVR n/a salvages

Uncollected Vehicles: All sold vehicles are to be removed within 2 business days from all Pickles Auctions facilities. Vehicles not removed will be charged daily storage fees, which must be paid in full, prior to collection.

The sales are made up predominantly of major insurance and finance stock.
