Casual buyer
As a casual buyer, once your payment has cleared you can retrieve your item. This process may take 24-48 hours from the time payment is made. You will receive an email confirmation if it has been paid in full.

Privileged buyer
As a privileged buyer, you can collect your item after providing a payment remittance.

Please email confirmation of your payment remittance to remittance@pickles.com.au. We will confirm your payment and advise when your item is ready for collection.

Also, we please advise that you arrive at least 30 minutes before closing to collect your item, so we have plenty of time to help you retrieve your item to go on your way. 

Note: Some branches require industrial and HMS assets to be collected from a different location than others, so please ensure you arrive at the address detailed on your invoice.

Private Collections for Motor Vehicles 
Motor vehicles purchased via auction must be removed via tow truck and can no longer be driven offsite.​ The only exceptions to this rule are:​
  • Trade buyers or dealers who have trade plates

OR

  • Private buyers who have purchased a vehicle which has current roadworthy and is registered.​

If a vehicle is advertised with registration and the buyer is interstate , they will not receive the plates.


Collections for Salvage Vehicles
In accordance with updated transport guidelines, we will not load salvage assets onto car trailers (excludes motorbike collections).

Private Collections for Industrial & General Goods Assets
  • Industrial Assets: Buyers may collect and drive industrial assets offsite, provided the driver has successfully completed an induction at the branch.
  • General Goods: Buyers can collect general goods after completing an induction at the branch. Please note:
    • We do not offer postage for general goods.
    • Buyers are solely responsible for arranging courier services.
    • A copy of the zero-balance invoice must be provided to the courier and they must also complete the onsite induction.
When collecting your item, all you need to bring is:
  • Your zero-balance invoice (Found within your MyPickles after your balance invoice is paid and processed)
  • Photo ID
If you are collecting on behalf of someone else or a company, please also bring written authority from the buyer giving you permission to collect on their behalf, along with a photo/copy of the buyer’s photo ID and your own photo ID.
 

Casual buyer
As a casual buyer, you will have to wait for payment to clear until you can come pick up you item(s). This process may require 24-48 hours from the time payment is made. Once payment has been cleared, you will be receive an email confirming that it has been paid in full. You can bring this with you upon collection as proof of payment. ‍

Privileged buyer
As a privileged buyer, you can email your zero balance invoice to remittance@pickles.com.au and we will let the branch know that you are on your way.

Yes, Pickles now offers buyer transport for motor vehicles, excluding salvage vehicles. We plan to extend this service to other asset types, including salvage vehicles in the future. For more information or to discuss your transport needs, please submit an enquiry or call us at 1300 296 251.
No, if Pickles arranges the transport of your purchased item you will not be charged storage fees.
The insurance coverage for items being transported is provided by our trusted third-party partners. This ensures that all items are protected throughout the transportation process, giving you peace of mind. For any questions regarding the specifics of this coverage, please feel free to contact our team directly.
After your transport is booked, our team will be in touch to advise when you when it is estimated to arrive.

Storage of $75.00 per day applies after your assets remain uncollected more than two (2) days from the sale or such longer period as specified by the auctioneer at the time of sale.

Please note: Storage fees also apply to purchases made from E-Salvage yards. 

Please follow the payment instructions on your storage invoice. Payments for storage cannot be made to the same accounts as what is used on a buyer invoice for an item purchase.
