Pickles is the official auctioneer for the Government of South Australia in Adelaide. 
 
Buyers can purchase Government of South Australia in Adelaide vehicles in two ways:
 

  1. Buy Prior to Auction – commonly known as Buy Now. Vehicles are available to be purchased from Friday 3.30pm to Tuesday 12am midnight weekly. If not sold, vehicles will be lotted in the auction.
    Buyers can also purchase Fixed Price vehicles online 24/7 via our website or in person at our Salisbury Plain facility.
  2. Public Online Auction – The weekly auction held every Wednesday at 10am will continue as scheduled with open inspections every Tuesday or by appointment only any other day. Please review the vehicle listing including photographs on our website. Participate in the auction in real-time through Pickles Live via desktop or our convenient app from anywhere in Australia. Collection Information:  Motor vehicles purchased via auction must be removed via tow truck and can no longer be driven offsite. The only exceptions to this rule are: trade buyers or dealers who have trade plates or private buyers who have purchased a vehicle which has a current roadworthy and is registered. 

Note: Vehicle registration cannot be transferred to a buyer who resides or whose address is in a state or territory that is different to the state or territory where the vehicle is registered. In the event a buyer’s residence or address is in another state or territory to where the vehicle is registered, the plates and registration for the vehicle will be removed and cancelled respectively.
